Surveillance

Quality of an end product is determined by the quality of cutting, welding, processing, painting, compiling and packaging work. Moreover, also the security of supply and pricing are the key factors for customer satisfaction. To feel confident about all these attributes, the customer needs regular access to important production data which shows the production status and its accordance with the initial agreement.
ETI has been gathering the versatile experience in metallurgical manufacturing surveillance since 2006. In parallel, we have been developing our own data management system called tribonet.eu, which enables smooth transfer of important production data between all process participants.

Welding constructions

When controlling the welding joints, the primary method is visual examination of exterior defects and comparison of object’s measurements with the original blueprint. Only then it makes sense to conduct the non-destructive testing of internal defects, either of the weld or the whole construction, depending on the purpose of the construction.
Non-destructive testing of metal constructions is conducted in a way that excludes any possibility of damaging the controllable object.
One of the methods used for detecting possible defects is ultrasound method. It is suitable for detecting and investigating cracks, flakes and cavities, as well as controlling junctions and detecting the thickness of amalgam layers.

Bearing units

Monitoring of bearing units does not always mean using of the most complicated and expensive methods available. It is often enough to use simple procedures (e.g listening with a regular sound amplifier) which provide perfectly adequate overview of the bearing unit’s condition.

As an example, controlling of justified assumptions may often be more efficient method for preventing failures than gathering of large amount of any relevant data.

Innovation

Inventor may fail many times before an eventual success, but this does not mean that inventing process is unnecessary.

Manufacturing companies often put a lot of emphasis on innovation, in order to maintain their competitive edge. The result of time consuming and thorough development work can often be a simple solution which significantly improves creativity and helps to reduce costs in production process.

Automotive fuels

It would be wrong to assume that any automotive fuel meeting the requirements set by the standards of law can automatically be considered as high quality fuel. In such case only the compliance with minimum requirements is ensured.
High quality originates from the tight competition between manufacturers. Only the manufacturer knows the specific quality indicators that need to be met, in order to ensure the desired effect of the automotive fuel supplement.
It is often forgotten that automotive fuel also affects the properties of engine oil. Hence it might not make sense to use expensive engine oil when low quality automotive fuel is being used at the same time.
According to EU legislation, a distributor who alters the original product is considered as a manufacturer. Therefore, when modified, also automotive fuels, accordance with legal standards need to be reconfirmed.

Lubricants

Unfortunately, counterfeit lubricants are not uncommon. How to make sure that the goods purchased with discount price are genuine and original?
Even if the product documentation is in order, the engineering material might not be of proper quality. When the lubricating oil is being used for a long time, the residues from oil additives make the product unusable.
Using of lubricates is only worthwhile when the proper rules are being followed. It primarily means determination of lubrication, following these carefully and sticking with the proper storage rules.

tribonet.ee

Contract work can be considered successful only when the end customer has confirmed their satisfaction. It is dependent on the quality of the work as well as the kept timelines.

Our data management system tribonet.eu combines all the required elements to ensure end customer’s satisfaction. It enables permanent access to important information – e.g when the different process phases start and finish, if the process is aligned with the initial schedule, which are the inevitable controlling tasks, etc.

tribonet.eu connects the end customer, manufacturer and controller with real-time information, thereby maintaining consistent overview of the progress and centrally documenting all different agreements and conditions between the participants.

The system also gathers valuable data for the manufacturer in order to efficiently plan future orders. Each manufacturer will have individual ratings based on the quality of previous work, which helps the customer to adequately plan security of supply and volume of controlling.
